The alpha isn’t open yet.
When it opens it will be the exact build we dogfood — the CLI and the MCP server, running against real projects, not a demo cut. This page exists so that when someone asks what the alpha is, the answer is written down before it ships rather than after.

What the first cut includes
The full CLI — decision ledger, context packets, memory lanes, capability router
The MCP server over stdio and HTTP, with the whole tool set, Atlas included
Raw-log capture for the CLIs you already run
A direct line to the people building it — your reports steer the queue
What it isn’t
A hosted service. There isn’t one, and the alpha does not create an account.
A finished terminal harness. That is being built and is not part of the first cut.
A stable interface. Commands and formats will move while we harden them.
Who it’s for
Anyone whose work outlasts a context window. That is the whole wedge. A task or a project that runs longer than one session means every restart costs you the explanation you already gave — and the longer the project, the more of each session goes on re-establishing what the last one already knew.
StateEngine keeps the decisions, the transcript, and each agent’s identity and memory outside the window. The next session starts where the last one stopped, rather than where the model’s memory ends.
If your projects fit comfortably inside a single conversation, you don’t need this yet. The first batches are small and weighted toward people who will actually file what breaks.
How registration will work
When invites are ready, a real form appears on this page — and it will state exactly what it collects and what happens to it before you type anything into it. Until that form exists, there is nothing to join, and any page that says otherwise isn’t ours.
