The short version

This site has no accounts, no sign-up, no contact form, and no field that collects anything about you. It currently runs no analytics at all — not even the aggregate, cookieless kind. StateEngine, the software, runs on your machine and does not send your project anywhere.

What this site collects

Nothing, by us. There is no analytics script on this site — no page-view tracking, no cookies, no beacons. We do not currently know how many people read this page, and that is the honest state of it rather than a policy we are proud of. If that changes, this page changes first.

The site is served by Cloudflare, which keeps ordinary server logs — IP addresses, user-agent strings, timestamps — for the usual operational reasons: delivering pages and detecting abuse. Those logs are Cloudflare’s, held under their terms rather than ours, and we do not export them or join them to anything else.

What this site does not do

• No accounts, logins, or passwords — there is nothing to sign up for yet.
• No contact forms, newsletter fields, or email capture anywhere on the site.
• No analytics, of any kind, at present — see above.
• No advertising networks, ad pixels, or third-party trackers.
• No selling, renting, or sharing of visitor data. There is no data worth selling.
• No attempt to identify you personally or follow you to other sites.

StateEngine the software

Separate from this website: StateEngine is local-first. Your project, its decision ledger, its raw-log floor, and its memory lanes live on your own disk, under your own keys. Running it does not create an account with us and does not transmit your project to us. If you point it at a model provider, your prompts go to that provider under your own credentials and their terms — not through us.

Nothing on this page describes a hosted service, because there isn’t one.

This site is a work in progress and this policy will change as it grows — in particular if registration opens. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
